As many of you may already be aware, the administration office has had a busy March, celebrating the send-off of Mrs. Clopton to new adventures in the private sector, and now welcoming in a new Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent/Communication Specialist. If you have visited or called the Administration Building, the friendly, familiar face you may have seen or that soft, professional voice on the phone you may have reached belongs to none other than our own community member of 15+ years, Mrs. Cassie Gregory! Mrs. Gregory brings a wealth of education experience–as she has served more than 10 years in a neighboring district as a Public Relations Coordinator, using her background in marketing and journalism. Most exciting to us is that Mrs. Gregory has a passion for public education and communication, so her enthusiasm of bringing communities and schools together is a natural fit and just what we need!
Mrs. Gregory is married to Mr. Dalton Gregory, and their blended family of six children, four of whom are Longhorn alums–as is Mr. Gregory (‘86)--have always been active supporters of the community, school, and all students! When not spending time at school or attending school/community events, the Gregorys combine their hobbies of cooking, traveling, reading, and fellowshipping by organizing EF travel trips for students/adults; hosting staff team-building events at their beautiful home; and/or sharing their delicious recipes or tips to great restaurants.
