Compliance Certification Under Texas Education Code § 39.008
Notice is hereby given that the Tarkington Independent School District Board of Trustees will consider and take action on the Certification of Compliance with Certain Laws required under Texas Education Code (TEC) § 39.008, as enacted by Senate Bill 12 during the 89th Texas Legislative Session.
The Compliance Certification must be approved by the District’s governing body in a public meeting and submitted electronically to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) through the AskTED application no later than September 30 of each year.
