2026 Accountability Rating

Dear Parents and Families,

The Texas A–F accountability system is the Texas Education Agency’s measure of academic performance for public school districts and campuses. While these ratings provide one measure of how well schools are preparing students for success in the next grade level and beyond high school, they do not represent the complete picture of a student’s or school’s performance.

Beginning August 14, 2026, you may view your child’s school rating and additional performance information by visiting TXschools.gov. The website also allows families to search for schools by address and compare performance among campuses.

We encourage you to remain actively engaged with your child’s teachers and campus leaders to gain a more complete understanding of your child’s academic progress. Student grades, classroom performance, individual growth, and teacher feedback provide important information beyond the state accountability rating.

Our district and campus leaders use accountability results to celebrate areas of success, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen instructional practices for the upcoming school year and beyond. As you review this information, we welcome your feedback and partnership in developing the best possible learning plan for your child.

Although our current ratings do not yet reflect the level of achievement we expect for every student, we remain fully committed to closing achievement gaps, strengthening academic performance, and providing meaningful and enriched learning opportunities for all students. We will continue working diligently until every student is learning at or above grade level.
