About Us

Tarkington ISD is a 4A school district that covers approximately 238 square miles in the southern part of Liberty County, Texas. We serve nearly 2,000 students from grades PreK-12. Our mission is to empower, support, and inspire our students to achieve academic success and to pursue excellence in all aspects of learning so they may live purposeful and productive lives.
