Accountability Ratings

"Texas provides annual accountability ratings for school districts which are based primarily on performance on the STAAR test (https://rptsvr1.tea.texas.gov/perfreport/account/2019). These ratings examine student achievement, progress, efforts to close achievement gaps, and postsecondary readiness. When districts or schools do not meet these standards, the state may provide required targeted or comprehensive school-wide support through the State’s Effective Schools Framework."
